This award celebrates County Wexford organisations that lead by example in energy management, environmental sustainability, and best practices in conservation through innovation, technology, and staff engagement. By aligning their operations with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), these businesses demonstrate a commitment to sustainable practices that benefit the environment, society, and economy.

 

Questions:

  1. Briefly describe your business and explain how your organisation integrates sustainable energy management and environmental practices into your operations? Please reference how your approach aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) relevant to your business.
  2. What innovative initiatives have you implemented to reduce your environmental impact and contribute to particular SDGs, and how have you measured it?
  3. How do you ensure your staff is involved in your sustainability initiatives? Share details of any training or programmes that engage your team in environmental responsibility and conservation.
  4. What specific results or positive changes have you seen from your sustainability initiatives, and how do these efforts contribute to the achievement of particular SDG targets at the local or global level?

An independent judging panel will review all applications received and shortlisted applicants will be contacted.
