Objective:

This award celebrates the exceptional accomplishments and future potential of County Wexford’s newest businesses. It recognises startups that, since their inception, have demonstrated well-planned leadership, a track record of growth and profit performance, and a commitment to satisfying customer and stakeholder needs. Applicants should showcase a well-developed strategy and a robust roadmap for future growth and success.

Eligible businesses must:

  • Be between one and two years old, established no earlier than January 1, 2023.
  • Show evidence of initial growth and market traction, such as customer acquisition, revenue generation, or partnerships.
  • Have a clear strategy for sustainability, scalability, and long-term success.

 

Questions

  1. Briefly describe your business and the solution you provide to clients or customers. What makes your brand unique?
  2. How do you ensure consistent delivery of a high-quality product or service, and how do you gather and act on customer feedback?
  3. What were your business goals in 2024, and how did you measure success? Did you achieve any significant milestones or business growth plans?
  4. Highlight one innovation or unique approach you implemented in 2024 and explain how it added value to your business or customers.

 

Please note: Including metrics and data can provide valuable insights to assessors and strengthen your application for the 2024 award. Your application will be assessed in the context of the size and resources of the business.

Please give clear and concise information in each of the following areas. This criteria will form the basis of the judges decision.

Completed application forms must be submitted online by 5.00pm on FRIDAY, February 14, 2025.

An independent judging panel will review all applications received and shortlisted applicants will be contacted.

ALL SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR INTERVIEW ON TUESDAY, APRIL 8th, at Whites of Wexford Hotel | Business Centre – time will be advised. Telephone Interviews are NOT an option.
